I'm Simon an adoptee and coach who empowers adoptive parents to empower their children to T.H.R.I.V.E.
I was adopted at 5 weeks old and told about it so young I can't remember not knowing.
All went pretty well apart from some bullying during childhood and fear about failure in the family business
I found out at 40 that my teddy bear was a gift from my birth mother.
This led to some very intense anger about being unloved and not good enough.
So I got into personal development to find happiness, eventually sold my business and became a coach.
I started working with kids in 2013 - running fun activity workshops with 1600 youngsters to inspire them to be happy, confident and make their dreams come true.
I then decided to share what I've learned with parents.
I want adoptive families to thrive
I wrote Jack Cherry and The Juicer to share the secret to happiness with children. The Activity Book builds on that with fun puzzles and quizzes to help them choose their mood. Jack Cherry's Recipe for SATs Success helps children be more confident so they can do their best in tests.
Our family business was educational publishing
We created hundreds of educational publications including Roald Dahl's Guide to Railway Safety to keep children safe when they're near railway lines, at stations and on trains.
